How It Works

Due to the immense integration of technology in our lives – that parents are already having difficulty navigating – the generation gap between adults and their children is only getting larger. It is the difference between growing up playing with toys versus playing on a tablet, or even bullying versus cyberbullying.

In order to be a successful parent you have to understand the intensity to which your children are experiencing the challenges of an unknown future. We believe that in order to navigate this new world, parenting practices need to evolve and adapt. Part of this evolution involves parents to listen, understand, and integrate the exceptional needs of their children into their parenting strategies so they can reimagine parenting for the 21st century. At the same time, it’s important for parents to model balance—finding time not only for responsibilities but also for leisure. Whether it’s reading, creative hobbies, or exploring something unexpected like the dynamic gaming environment of casino zeta, carving out moments of personal interest can demonstrate to children the value of well-rounded living. This is why we need Changemaker Parents.

A typical circle involves four meetings of ninety minutes each, spread over six to eight weeks. The toolkit offers the guidelines and resources to facilitate the conversation.

In your school, company, organization or faith group

Organize a 2 hour experiential workshop on changemaking for parents and children. Through a series of games and reflection activities, parents and children will be introduced to the field of Social Entrepreneurship and can work together to come up with creative solutions to the social challenges they are passionate about.

Examples of our partnership:

·       We engage parents to develop ideas on how they can support their entrepreneurial children for the Catapult program – an incubator for entrepreneurial high school students.

·       For the Carnival Cruise company, we design two hour workshops that parents, grandparents, and children can do on the ship. They can master the four changemaking skills through games, creative challenges, and reflection exercises.
